Jr. Toastmasters

  • We are a homeschool co-op (cooperative group) that offers classes, tutoring, and private lessons on Fridays during the traditional school year. Our homeschool classes are for ages 4 to 19, and we also offer a nursery program for children ages 0-3.

  • A co-op, or cooperative, is a group of parents who come together to create group classes and programs for their children.

  • Our homeschool co-op offers classes and tutoring on Fridays, 24 weeks per year. September-December and January-April.

  • We are in a perfect location, less than 30 minutes from six local cities. Our address is 15 Williams Dr, Okatie SC 29909

  • You choose how many classes you want at Learn Together Lowcountry homeschool co-op. You choose your schedule, your price, and your volunteer time.

  • See the questions below about what is required of parents and how to qualify for the drop-off program.

  • LTL is parent-led and requires participation by all families in order to fully support our homeschool classes and offerings. One parent or guardian is required to be on campus and volunteer during the hours their students are on campus unless granted a special exemption or qualifies for the drop-off program. Duty assignments are given weekly.

  • Students, aged 12+, may be eligible for the drop-off program if a parent or guardian volunteers for six hours per semester. This may be fulfilled with time on campus or assisting with an event.

  • LTL is a Bible-based program with a mission to share the character of Jesus by showing love to one another and creating community. We believe in the inerrancy of the Bible. As Jesus did, we welcome all families from every walk of life and faith.

  • Learn Together Lowcountry makes every attempt to make our tuition inclusive. Most classes include all supplies, including the student curriculum your child will keep. Occasionally there is a class prerequisite book that will be purchased separately.

  • Due to the customized nature of private lessons, each student will need to obtain their own instrument and books. Contact your teacher to find out what is recommended for your skill level. If you aren’t sure who your teacher is, just email admin@learntogetherlowcountry.org to be connected.

  • We welcome visitors, but our safety protocol requires they be approved in advance. Contact the director at hannah@learntogetherlowcountry.org and request that your guest be allowed to visit including the reason for the request. All visitors must sign a release of liability form and wear a name tag. Depending on the reason for the visit, guests may need to pay a portion of tuition or supplies.

  • LTL is not an association… yet! That is in the plans for the coming years. However, we offer most of the events, counseling, and other perks of an association. If you need help choosing an association, our parents can help recommend their favorites.

  • Our parents are the BEST support. Contact us at admin@learntogetherlowcountry.org to be assigned a “homeschool buddy” or just ask questions.

  • Our high school classes are worth either a half-credit or full credit IF the student completes the remainder of the work at home. LTL holds classes for 24 weeks and most one-credit curriculums last for 36 weeks. Teachers can provide information about what material to complete independently. Most of our half-credit classes can be completed in 24 weeks with completed weekly homework. Most of our classes can be used to supplement another course or make a course honors level. Students are not required to take the class for credit. For customized support with designing your student’s academic plan with LTL courses, email admin@learntogetherlowcountry.org.

  • Absolutely. Your teacher will inform the class about what is required for those needing credits and who don’t. We strongly recommend that the homework assigned during the 24 weeks LTL holds classes be completed by every student in class to create better class discussion and student investment.

  • Yes! We are consistent with events year-round including prom, winter dance, fall fest, holiday programs, bonfires, movies, informational training, various school events, fine arts night, recitals, field trips, and more. Many events are also posted at lowcountryfieldtrips.com
